The past few days I decided to try not take my percocets. I have an addictive type personality and become addicted to everything, so why not some prescription drugs! Kidding...but seriously it scares me a little. That is why I tried to stop taking them. I went a day without them and it just happened to be the day after I was playing in Philly and walking around everywhere. As well as the day I thought it was a great idea to wear 5in wedges. Again, idiot.
My leg hurt SO bad that night that I knew there was no way I was going to go to the gym to swim. As soon as I got out of my car when I got home from work, I just knew it was not gunna happen. I was so mad I wanted to cry and punch someone in the face. So I had to take my percocets and now I am back on all three prescriptions for the time being.

So far over the past few days I have been able to lose a few pounds and am only 2lbs away from my lowest weight. I hope that the little strength training and healthy eating has something to do with it. I am going to keep going!

So there you have it...my "healthy" little plan. Even though I have this set back, I am NOT going to let it ruin my journey. I will be tested this weekend with the University of Delaware reunion drunkfest going on, and I know I will be drinking. I am already planning for that so I know I have to be extra awesome this week to minimize the damage. I have come way too far to give up now. There is NO going back. EVER.
Whatever you do
Do not give up.
Because for once this is for you.
Girrrl... take yo' meds!
ReplyDeleteI totally get what you are saying. I had surgery a couple of years ago and was prescribed so many different meds. I didn't like how they made me feel and I was totally paranoid that I was going to OD (even though I knew rationally that I wouldn't) so I stopped taking them.
Congrats on your 2 pound lost! Keep it up girly!!!!!
