Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
nothing's going to get better. It's not.
Ok so enough about that and my slight Lorax obsession...
I am super excited because June was a crazy month and it's finally starting to calm down. Don't get me wrong, it was a fabulous time but it will be nice to not have so many plans or events messing with my normal schedule! The first 3 weeks of June were filled with parties, reunions, drinking (ugh!) and running around like crazy. I mean...all of it was a really fun time (except the car accident and everything involved) but I hate when my fun things interfere with my workout schedule. I like to go to the gym on the weekends and make it to my classes during the week. If something prevents me from doing that, it makes me mad because I KNOW myself and I know that if I get "off schedule" that means I will most likely go off track. And I did a bit. So don't mind me when I say that I'm glad all that stuff is over!
I picked up my new car this weekend!!!!
Her name is Ellie <3 |
So glad that I can now move on from the past 2 weeks and forget it ever even happened! No more missing my weeknight gym classes to deal with tow companies, insurance and rental cars. YES! So ready to just get back into my routine!
Thankfully last night I was finally able to make it to the grocery store and properly food prep for the week! I learned quickly that if I don't do the food prepping, I will eat way off track. Bummer. But this week should be great! I have my chicken, avocados, tomatoes and onion all ready! You know me...same old clean meal x 5.
My plan for the week is to ease back into my old routine:
Monday- Zumba
Tuesday- Body pulse and abs class
Wednesday- Zumba & Kickboxing
Thursday- Wild card (maybe Cardio Dance class)
Friday- Personal training session
Saturday- Morning gym session
That's my goal schedule for the week. Since I have a car payment now I may have to ease back on personal training. Financially I don't think I can do both :( This makes me SO sad because I LOVE my trainer and I know she is the reason why the past 2 months have been really good for me at the gym. I hope I can still at least train with her once a month...I know I can cut back somewhere else. Hopefully...
Found your blog through Chunky Rants...glad to read you! I love your new car. I've been contemplating a new one, too. I can't wait to get rid of my mom-mobile mini-van!
ReplyDeleteI've never been tempted by a DietBet until now. I can't believe there are so many players! I'll think about it :)
Hi! Thank you for reading! :)
DeleteI love my new car! thank you!
DietBet is a great motivator. I'm not going to lie, the challenge is difficult. Losing 4% is a challenge BUT it will motivate you to try your best and you will lose weight! That's why I love it! :) Good luck if you decide to try it out!!!!!
Awesome work girl! Just discovered your blog and love. Congrats on the new car and keep up the amazing work :)
ReplyDeleteThank you!!! :) xoxo
DeleteEllie is so cool!
ReplyDeleteI hear ya on the whole working out bit...but I do love a good party. Hopefully we both get back on track.
...and oh! The Lorax is the ish!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!
xo
HAHA! YES! Isn't the Lorax adorable?! He's my fav little Dr. Seuss creature! <3
DeleteWe WILL get back on track, because we're awesome! :)
Oh nice new car. love it. I'm so jealous. However, my 12 year old cavalier just won't die :)
ReplyDeleteDietbet, hmmmm now that sounds cool. Will have to give that some thought. Great motivator for sure.
Aww! I miss my old car tho!! Driving without a car payment is always fun! :) DietBet is a great motivator!! :)
DeleteI have been following your blog for a little while now and was wondering what you review on the Polar Watch is. I am trying to decide between the fitbit flex and the polar watch and much to my dismay I can't find any review comparing the two.
ReplyDeleteHi!! I LOVE my polar! I would highly recommend it. I can't really give you a good comparison because I don't know alot about the fitbit products. I really like my polar tho. I love how it gives you an average and high heart rate. It allows you to really judge how hard you worked at your workout. If you end up getting a polar, I bought mine off of Amazon for around $70 I think! :)
DeleteA lot of things happened to you in just a month. But despite all this, you still have a bubbly and positive outlook which is very inspirational. Anyway, your new car is definitely the highlight of your June month. Maybe this was your treat for going through a rough month. Drive safely!
