I have always wanted to go back but didn't want to go back and gain. I am so dumb...I wanted to lose weight and be lower than I was at my last ww meeting just so I could prove that I didn't reallllly need ww to be successful.
HA!
Guess what....since my last ww meeting....I gained...a lot.
Since the last time I weighed in....I gained...a lot.
Time to be real:
I gained 17lbs since the my last ww meeting December 2011 and 27lbs since my last weigh in.
Something seems odd. To gain 27lbs in 2 months?! I think my original 258 weigh in was wrong. Or I'm in denial. (This is so embarrassing) :(
I can blame it on my back injury or I can just man up and say I could have done better.
I COULD HAVE DONE BETTER. I could have...
The only thing I can do now is just acknowledge it, accept it and MOVE FORWARD.
Of course I knew my ww weigh in would be terrible so I came prepared. I dressed in my workout gear and headed to the gym for a workout right after the meeting. Of course it was an awesome sweat sesh. I was mad at myself and figured the best punishment should take place at the gym. So I punished myself...
45 minutes on the elliptical weights and a drippy sweaty face |
It was really fun to use my polar heart rate monitor for the first time! I could see what my heart rate was and how hard I had to work to get it in the right place. For my age, my target heart rate is 135-165. I was right on the dot! You can calculate your target heart rate here: Target Heart Rate
If anyone thinks this is wrong, please let me know! I was clueless and had to google it...so I am hoping this is correct. :)
Ughhhh this weightloss junk is SO HARD! I guess if it was easy then everyone would be at a normal weight.
The only thing any of us can do is support each other and keep going. Never give up.
I just a got a Polar HRM too and now I don't know how I ever worked out without it, it is so useful!! Good luck, i know you will do great back on WW. Onward and downward!
